NWS Holdings Annual Report wins international awards
(8 August 2006, Hong Kong) NWS Holdings Limited ("NWS Holdings" or the "Group"; Hong Kong stock code: 0659) Annual Report 2005 has won awards at the International ARC Awards, which is recognized as the "Academy Awards of Annual Report". The Group is honoured with Silver Award in Interior Design and Honor in Cover Design / Photo in the Conglomerate sector. This is the first time that the Group is presented with the ARC Awards. The Group's Annual Report 2004 also received awards in different competitions last year.

In terms of content, the Group continues to enhance transparency and disclosure, particularly on corporate governance and project information, in order to facilitate investors' understanding in the Group's businesses as well as management. Different charts are used in the Annual Report to ensure the financial information is presented clearly. In addition, a new column of Achievements is opened to showcase the awards and honors the Group garnered throughout the year.
Organized by MerComm, Inc. in the United States, the International ARC Awards is widely respected by the industry peers and attracts thousands of entries from different companies all over the world. The judging criteria include design, creativity, clarity of written text, presentation of corporate information and financial data. The Annual Reports of New World China Land Limited (Hong Kong stock code: 0917) and New World Development Company Limited (Hong Kong stock code: 0017) of the New World Group also won the Gold and Silver Awards respectively in "Overall Annual Report: Real Estate Development/ Service" category in the International ARC Awards.
