New World Group organizes "Warmth Delivery" activity

Sending warmth and love to the elderly before Christmas
New World Development Company Limited ("NWD", "New World Group" or "the Group", Hong Kong stock code: 17) always cares for the community it serves and is committed to protecting the environment. As a responsible corporate citizen, New World Group is devoted to caring for the people in need and actively supports environmental protection activities, including the implementation of "Green Office" and the setting up of "Road to Green - Striving for a Young New World" Social Enterprise ("Road to Green") with Tuen Mun Youths Association in 2008 with major business of collecting used clothes from the public. This winter, the Group organized the "Warmth Delivery" activity with "Road to Green" for the second consecutive year and encouraged its staff members to donate winter clothes for the elderly. This year, the Group has collected more than 1,400 pieces of winter clothes, including woolen knitwear, scarves, thick jackets and more from its staff members. On 19 December, the volunteers from New World Group, together with the trainees from "Road to Green" paid a visit and delivered the winter clothes to the elderly in Tai Hing Estate in Tuen Mun, sending warmth and love to them before Christmas.
