New World China Land won International Annual Report Awards for five consecutive years
New World China Land Limited ("NWCL", Hong Kong stock code: 0917) has been honoured outstanding achievement in the International ARC Awards, the widely recognized "Academy Awards of Annual Reports" for the fifth consecutive years. NWCL FY2006 Annual Report has won the Honors for "Overall Annual Report".

In addition to The International ARC Awards, annual reports of New World Group have also won numerous awards in other international competitions. The FY2006 Annual Reports of New World Development Company Limited ("NWD", Hong Kong stock code: 0017) and NWCL have been presented the Silver Award for "Annual Report - Overall Presentation: Holdings & Property Development" and the Bronze Award for "Design: Annual Report - Interior" respectively in the 20th International Mercury Awards. Moreover, in the 17th International Astrid Awards, the FY2006 Annual Reports of NWCL and NWS Holdings Limited ("NWSH", Hong Kong stock code: 0659) have won the Gold Awards in the category of "Annual Reports - Overall Presentation - Corporate" and "Covers: Annual Report" respectively. Recently, NWSH FY2006 Annual Report has also been presented the Bronze Award for "Annual Reports: Conglomerate" in the 18th Galaxy Awards.
The International ARC Awards, sponsored by MerComm, Inc., are the world's largest competition honouring excellence in annual reports. The annual competition receives entries from hundreds of companies across sectors from around the world. Annual reports are judged on the basis of several elements, including presentation of corporate information, expression of financial data, how well the spirit of the organization is communicated, clarity of written text and effectiveness of design.
