"MT Journal" Being Launched at New World Group Facebook Page
New World Development Company Limited ("the Group" or "NWD"; Hong Kong stock code: 17) has long been devoted to nurturing youth talents. Once again, the Group launches the "New World Group Management Trainee Programme" this year and recruits 21 young talents from over 2,000 applicants. To let the public have a glimpse of the working life of the 21 Management Trainees ("MTs"), the Group has launched a weekly blog, namely "MT Journal", at the "New World Group" Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/newworldgroup). The 21 MTs take turns to share their valuable experiences and personal growth in the Group through text and photos.
During last few months, the MTs have obtained fruitful knowledge and skills from on-the-job training, organizing corporate events and projects, staff training and site visits. Ko Chui-Yi, Winnie, MT of NWD shared her journey of assisting in organizing the "New World Harbour Race 2011", in which the Group is the title sponsor. She feels excited to participate in the discussion of the sponsorship terms and execution of the whole promotion campaign.Lee Wing-Kwan, Sylvia, MT of K11 Concepts Limited feels honoured to have site visits in properties and projects developed by the Group, such as K11 Art Mall and The Masterpiece in Hong Kong. Through observation at malls, show flats and back offices, she was amazed by the operations of different business units and the know-how behind.
The Group hopes that the public can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the "New World Group Management Trainee Programme" and share the MTs' working achievements through their personal sharing at the social media website.
