Heart-warming nut treats at Patisserie

Pastry Sous Chef Kelvin Lai at Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin makes delicious use of nuts and introduces five comforting autumn treats at Patisserie throughout September and October.

Pistachio and Raspberry Cake      HK$240 per pound
Fluffy, moist pistachio cake filled with layers of vanilla cream and fruity raspberry jam, and topped with crunchy green pistachio nuts and fresh raspberries - a colourful and impressive cake which is perfect for birthdays and afternoon tea.

Chestnut Cake      HK$240 per pound
Also called Mont Blanc, it is a light sponge cake with layers of whipped cream and chestnut puree, complemented by a luxurious mound of sweet chestnut spaghetti on top, making it a classic and elegant French dessert.

Pecan Pie      HK$180 each
An American specialty and a delicious combination of toasted pecans, caramel-like sweet filling, and a crisp, buttery pie crust which gives this pie wonderful flavour with a dense and chewy texture.

Almond Florentine      HK$88 per packet (10 pieces)
Golden hued disks of sliced almonds painted with chocolate at the bottom, making this beautiful European treat such a pleasant surprise.

Macadamia Nut Cookies       HK$48 per packet (10 pieces)
