Guangzhou New World Canton Bay opens for sales
Achieved outstanding sales of RMB 300 million
New World Canton Bay, the riverfront residential project developed by New World China Land Limited ("NWCL") in Baietan Plate of Guangzhou, has presented 300 brand new housing units, with the room size ranging from 85 sq m dual-room house facing central garden view in the south to 220 sq m five-room house with the beautiful river scenery from every room in the house. The average price was RMB 25,000 per sq m. A crowd of people was attracted to visit the site with more than 1,000 potential customers showing interest within only two hours. On the first day of opening for sales, an excellent sales performance of RMB 300 million has already been achieved, being the property which achieved the highest sales in the downtown.
Located in the western portal area of Baietan and in the north of Fangcun Avenue, the Project neighbors the Pearl River in the north and is adjacent to Yaokou Station of Subway Line 5. With land coverage of 170,000 sq m and gross floor area of more than 600,000 sq m, the Project is another masterpiece developed by New World China Land Guangzhou apart from the Central Park-View which is the high-end landmark property in the centre of the downtown, and also the first large residential project in Baietan after its new planning. Therefore, it is positioned as "First International Waterfront Community of Baietan".
On 31 August, Guangzhou No.4 Middle School New World School, one of "2011 Top Ten Livelihood Projects" in Liwan District, Guangzhou, held a grand ceremony. At the occasion, New World China Land which invests in the construction of the School, handed the No.4 Middle School over to the Liwan District Education Bureau. The School has already completed the enrollment of new students and will hold an opening ceremony on 1 September. As such, New World Canton Bay enjoys the preferential advantage of having good school network. The Guangzhou New World Canton Bay Jiangyuan dual-view new products are expected to be further launched in September.
