Beijing Qianzi Store Commenced Operation Setting up a Brand New Living Gallery in Beijing
New World Department Store China Limited ("NWDS" or the "Company"; Hong Kong stock code: 825), one of the largest owners and operators of department stores in the PRC, is pleased to announce that the Company's fifth store in Beijing, Beijing New World Qianzi Department Store ("Beijing Qianzi Store"), commenced operation on 22 September 2010.
Located at Xinshunnan Road of Shunyi District, where is the commercial, cultural and economic center, Beijing Qianzi Store enjoys the prime location with enormous business potential. The new store is located in a large-scale integrated complex; it is the first multi-service "Living Gallery" within the district with a gross floor area of approximately 40,000 sq.m., coupled with 300 car parking space. The opening of the new self-owned store will increase the Company's total number of stores to 36, while the aggregate gross floor area will rise to 1,210,000 sq.m..
Beijing Qianzi Store houses more than 600 well-known local and international labels, with nearly 50% of which making their debuts in Shunyi market, while the latest 2010 fall collection has been outflanked to the market, bringing an unprecedented shopping experience to customers. In additional to offering a plethora of merchandises with special emphasis on men's & ladies' wear, gold & jewellery, outdoor products, bedding, fitness equipment and household appliances, about 20%-30% of the store area is specially reserved for service facilities including large-scale electronic games city, piano city, education center, professional salon and fashion nail counter, becoming a destination for shopping, leisure, gathering and holidaying for the whole family.
