New World Group's Creative Designs Garner International Accolades
Placing great emphasis on creative designs to highlight its brand uniqueness, New World Group garners eight accolades in the 24th International Astrid Awards (see chart below). The International Astrid Awards aims to recognise outstanding designs. Entries are assessed on their creativity concept, effectiveness and overall quality. This year, the International Astrid Awards attract close to 550 entries from different companies all over the world.
New World China Land Limited (“NWCL”)’s Annual Report 2013 scooped four awards, including the gold award in the categories of “Annual Reports - Covers - Artistic” and “Annual Reports - Corporate - Traditional – (Over 171 pages)” respectively. Themed “Discover Happiness”, the design features traditional Chinese elements and ink painting with a contemporary twist, with the front cover adopting the concept of a traditional Chinese door. This fusion demonstrates how NWCL merges the best of Chinese traditions, cultures and heritages with innovative ideas to rejuvenate old cities into vibrant communities.
New World Development Company Limited (“New World Development” or “the Group”) received the silver and honours award in the Posters category respectively for the poster of New World International Triathlon and New World Harbour Race 2013, the Group’s major titled-sponsored events.
New World Department Store China Limited’s FY2013 annual report and NWS Holdings Limited’s 10th Anniversary of Listing project also garnered accolades in various categories.
