New World Group participates in "Run-up Two ifc Charity Race" to support the Community Chest

New World Development Company Limited ("New World Group" or "the Group"; Hong Kong stock code: 0017) is going to join the "Run-up Two ifc Charity Race" organized by the Community Chest to be held on 7 November 2004. New World Group fully supports the race. Apart from sending a corporate team to participate in the event, the Group has also donated HK$200,000 to enhance "Services for the Mentally Handicapped" supported by the Chest.

We have been actively participating and supporting in numerous charity activities in which "Run-up Two ifc Charity Race"is one of the many examples.'
Four staffs coming from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited and NWS Engineering Ltd. under New World Group will form a team of six with two other celebrities to participate in the race.
