NWD's 2011 annual report's rich content is heightened by its visually-appealing layout. The illustration of our metropolitan area on the cover epitomises the Group's diverse businesses in four core areas: property, infrastructure, services and department stores as well as its contributions to a better society. The report contains a large number of vivid graphics and colourful pages, reflecting the vibrant outlook and innovative qualities of the Group.
NWCL's 2011 annual report is a string-bound book with quaint traditional Chinese objects printed on its cover: a red lantern, writing brushes, ink paintings and a wine vessel. The business review section of the report begins with four Chinese characters, namely "home," "business," "happiness" and "leisure," accompanied by photos and maps. The varied content gives full details of the many outstanding properties that NWCL has developed. It also emphasises its commitment to offering "New World‧New Living" to our customers.
NWDS has opened a new chapter in annual report design. It has adopted a bold approach when designing the report by turning it into a chic and stylish magazine, coupled with a specially-designed cover, trendy layout and graphics resembling a high-end fashion magazine. The overall approach underpins the NWDS' belief in "Enriching Lives. Enhancing Character." The report is decorated with colourful floral patterns and lively illustrations appealing to a board range of readers, which signal the strong bonding between our department stores and their customers as well as the varied shopping experiences we offer.
The theme of a road is widely adopted throughout the NWS Holdings' 2011 annual report, a showcase for our forward-looking and promising prospects. Its cover displays the slogan "A Journey of Excellence" and the subheading "Develop Strength, Outperform & Create Value," exhibiting NWS Holdings' unwavering dedication to developing its core business strengths and its commitment to sustainable growth. To reinforce the theme of the report, road signs are heavily used. These symbolise NWS Holdings' management's clear objectives and business strategy throughout its history, showing that the company is scaling new heights and aiming for an even more illustrious future while offering the best to society.
The Galaxy Awards are given out by US-based MerComm, Inc. to honour outstanding corporations in corporate communications.
